EV Metalværk (EV Hydrogen®) uses reputable and approved European suppliers, only. It is very important for our quality and efficiency to trust the same quality of steel every time. That is why we only make use of a few suppliers on steel commodities. For commodities like gaskets, O-rings, springs, and other consumables we use as few suppliers as possible to secure the same quality every time. For hydrogen components steel material AISI316 is the common choice due to better resistance to hydrogen embrittlement in comparison to other steel materials.

100% Documentation package and product traceability with batch/lot numbering

Our products have a 100% tracability due to the production lot number which is laser marked in each and every product. The production lot number covers all technical documentation about the product all the way to the documentation package ordered by the customer. 

Surface treatment, polishing & hardening

EV Hydrogen® products undergo various finishing processes.  We make use of different surface treatments for the products, and we always choose the best sub-supplier for the job. To secure the quality we strive to find a local supplier because we need to be in close contact with the companies that makes the last refinement process for our products.
